Realistic Pokemon Sketches: Grass Starters

Bulbasar: Dicynodont mixed with the Bearded Dragon. I don't see Bulbasaur as a toad, as it has saur in it's lame deriving from the term 'lizard.' To me it is reptilian.

Chikorita: Bit of a no brainer; baby Brachiosaur but I shortened the limbs and neck enough to keep it close to canon.

Treecko: Your average Gecko. I liked the idea of tails being tails, but also having some leaf like qualities. I looked at the Green Gecko and Green Anole for reference.

Turtwig: A teeny bit iffy as he should probably be a tortoise, but I looked at that face and saw Snapping Turtle all over him. I'll make his evolution line look more tortoise-like as we go on.

Snivy: This is one that derived some more thought. He is meant to be a grass snake, but has legs? Nope, I see him as a 5-Toed Skink. His evolution line reminds me of the evolution of snakes from lizards.
